Sky refuse to connect to the property due to Telecare use
The property uses Telecare and is already on a digital system, not using the landline. Openreach have installed fibre to the property. Today Sky came and refused to install their part inside the property because of the Telecare system. Why? The two are not connected to each other.

Re: Sky refuse to connect to the property due to Telecare use
@BLT while Openreach's engineers has completed the external work it is their ruling not Sky's not to connect properties that have telecare alarms for the time being. How long this will, stay in place isn't clear. This is related to the switch off of the analogue phone service which works during power cuts whereas the new digital system doesnt. Indtalling full fibre removes you analogue phone service.
