Sky only offering Ultrafast Plus & not Gigafast at renewal

Any ideas why Sky are not offering Gigafast to us?

Competitors including BT are saying higher speeds are available & so do Sky if try to sign up a new Customer 🤔

Other than a long wait on the phone any suggestions please

I had the same issue, so signed up for ultrafast plus. As soon as it was installed I logged into my sky account and it gave me the option to upgrade to Gigafast, which I did and it was activated within 20 minutes. That was a couple of months ago and all has been fine since.
