Sky max hub vpn won't work for xbox

I have been in contact with sky customer services to ask about if I can manual change the DNS settings so that the Vpn I have purchased can work on my xbox series s but the router keeps changing my settings back and I have turned off Sky Shield and made my security level the lowest it can be and I have read about turning off MAP-T if I'm correct but sky have to do this on their end so if this could be escalated please so I can get some help and it not be a waste of money I have spent on this VPN and cannot use because of the security on my sky max hub.
