Sky max hub not connecting to mysky app

Upgraded to sky max new white hub, WiFi speeds actually got worse than previous black hub , it's great in main room but just dies anywhere else in my flat, rang sky and they sent me a pod ....this is when my frustrations started....hub will not connect to app therefore I can't activate the pod....spoken to sky at least 6 times now and it's the same every time...reset hub, I've done that...uninstall app....done that...over and over and over again....they keep telling me its escalated to tech team but nothing happens, they all tell me they'll call back next day...none have.

I am so fed up now...spoke to a friend who is a tech nerd , he says white hub will not connect to my app until sky tech remove the black hub from my account, I've tried explaining this to the advisers on phone but no one will listen to me....all I get told is wait 24hrs and all will be good....well its not....9 days and still not connecting....any advice?

Same. I have never dealt with a worse company than sky.
