Sky loyal customer having problems with speed

Hi there sky team,

I have been a loyal customer with you for many years and have only experienced one issue since I joined. Unfortunately, I am currently facing a second issue. My internet speeds have been consistently low for the past two days, to the point that it's been awful, and I've had to switch to mobile data. Previously, I was informed that your company doesn't provide routers, and my current router is quite old. It seems that new customers have the option of using new routers, but it appears that loyal, long-term customers like myself have been overlooked, despite consistently paying for your services.

This situation is quite frustrating, and I kindly request that you look into it. If possible, I would greatly appreciate it if you could send a new router, as I believe the issue is not on my end, and I am unwilling to pay for a new router when there is no fault on my part. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Speeds i'm getting upload is 9.2 Mbps and download 1.6 MBps

@Ramachandran12  You're not addressing Sky via the forum, Loyalty has no bearing on any issues you're having.

Please can you post your router stats so the forum can advise on any issues. This link explains how to do that https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/How-to-find-your-Sky-Broadband-router-stats/td-p/2855717#

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Ramachandran12

Which router do you have at the moment? The ER115/Sky Q router is the most up to date router for customers who do not pay for the Broadband Boost/Sky Max subscriptions.

If you are on an older router than those then it may be because you are out of contract that Sky do not want to provide you with a newer router. Usually renewing your package triggers Sky to send you the appropriate router.
