They activated the broadband last fri but that deactivated my printer and land line phones? Getting very stressed trying to use their labrynthine help mechanisms -- they said everything would be straightforward --it never is is it

Typically a phone handset or DECT base station will plug into the rear of the Sky Hub. Internal telephone extension sockets won't function any more: that's a side effect of the move to digital telephony.

Thanks-- as a total computer etc nerd -- I eventually worked it out-- it would have been so much easier if threir engineers had pointed it out or even done it when they were here -- it took me about30 seconds once i had worked out why the old sockets were not providing a signal

any ideas why the printer -- a newish HP has ceased working-- it seems to be picking up a wifi signal?
