Sky hub max slow download speed.

Hi all, I recently decided to "upgrade" from the standard sky hub which was giving me a comfortable 600mb/s. However ever since installing the new max hub I have suffered from slow speed to hub speeds of 92.8mb/s. This is incredibly frustrating as I already pay a large amount of money each month to sky only to see this "new and improved" hub not follow through on it promise of providing faster speeds and better WiFi coverage. I have tried every remedy going which has seen the speed temporarily jump up to 800mb/s but always settle back down at 92.8mb/s. Can someone provide some advice please as this is driving me mad.

@OllieH there are several potential explanations to excludecsome can you confirm if the hub has been moved and whether you have Sky Q boxes?

Re: Sky hub max slow download speed.

Hiya,

I've done a straight swap from the old black hub to the new white one. Nothing else has changed in regards positioning etc.

Don't have Sky Q just sky glass.

I've read that potentially testing is done on the line for 14 days but this is now the 3rd day of sub 100mb/s speeds despite paying for the full package of speeds I know I can receive.

That should only be a factor for 'part fibre' broadband (ADSL/FTTC) and not FTTP

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
