Sky hub made crackling sound after thunder storm
During a thunder storm last night the hub made a crackling noise and now it only has a flashing red power light. I have followed all the processes amd it just shows the same light. I do not have a phone connected. We don't use it.

Re: Sky hub made crackling sound after thunder storm
The first thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
If there isn't try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.
After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.
If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them. If you Jane no mobile then you will have to contact them via their social
edit sites as there are links to their sites at the bottom of this page.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can
