Sky hub charger cable length too short

I have just had Sky Broadband fitted. Unfortunately, I cannot put the router where I want it because the hub charger cable is too short by about 30cm. Is it possible to get a charger with a longer cable?  I am reluctant to run an extension lead to the charger because this could be a trip hazard.

Actually, I now see I can get a 0.5m USB c-type cable male to female. Can anyone see any issues with this?
