Sky gigafast but poor WiFi in some rooms
Hi, looking for some guidance - I've Gigafast Broadband and a Sky Max router but I have poor WiFi in parts of the house. When I spoke to an agent the other day about it I was advised that I couldn't get Sky Max broadband guarantee and therefore no offer of a Sky Max Pod to help boost the WiFi around the house. It's not a big property, but I think it could help. I was advised I would have to buy myself a 3rd party booster which isn't ideal considering the amount I'm already paying for my package. Any thoughts of on how I can get a Max Pod to help? My older 4.2 router is ok but unable to
use it as an Access Point (even if I knew how to do that)

@Ryan20 So why where you not able to get the addon to your sky max subscription? must have been a reason.

Re: Sky gigafast but poor WiFi in some rooms
The agent said it was because Sky Max is no longer considered viable in my postcode area - despite my neighbour having it and even though I already have the white Sky Max router. He said I could therefore only have the biggest plan (gigafast) but with the 4.2 router (the black one) and that there was no upgrade to guarantee the WiFi in the home available.

@Ryan20 Think you need to call again, response message does not seem right, having a Sky Max router, there is no reason for not getting the Subscription addon unless you wanted to get it for free, and that is not happening. Linked the info below.
getting sky max and how to get the pod's

There does seem to be some supply issue's at present with Sky Max hubs and also the Pod's unless that is what is holding it back!

Thanks - yes I agree. That was initially one of the stipulations for getting the Sky Max Router - will follow up with them again. Appreciate your replies.

That seems extremely unlikely to be correct: the only significant restriction on Max is it isn't compatible with broadband over G.fast
