@kay+dalton You will not see those speed's until your Full Fibre installation is completed, if you expected that to be done yesterday did you recieve any text about delayed installation, have a look on you account orders and the my messages sections!

Re: Sky fiber not activated

I had alook and it says due day yesturday with no delay messages or updates. It also says an engineer was due to come over which I don't need as I already have sky super fast.

Re: Sky fiber not activated

@kay+dalton You already have a Full fibre installation with an ONT connected and ready to go? If so you are correct but no Engineer would possibly be required for that then. Are you OR openreach or CF CityFibre connected if you happen to know with your Fibre connection!

Sky Superfast broadband is available in two speeds. Superfast 35 tops out at 35Mbps on average, while its Superfast Broadband comes in at 59Mbps. Both are significantly faster than ADSL broadband. What type of broadband is Sky Superfast? Sky Superfast is a fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC) service.

Re: Sky fiber not activated

I'm open reach with 35meg speed. I don't have ONT just the open reach connection. My status is still engineer due yesturday and fiber 300 yesturday. I work 6 days a week and took the day off so am pretty annoyed

Re: Sky fiber not activated

@kay+dalton Look's like you may have a delayed install then if no Engineer message/text to you, so look out for the text from sky to reschedule you to the next available appointment, it happens and unavoidable when the Engineer get's hung up on another job!

Re: Sky fiber not activated

Contact Sky and ask for a new appointment, their system will get updated eventually, but you can pre-empt with a phone call. Book an appointment first thing as you're less likley to get bumped.

Also ask about being compensated for the missed appointment.

Full fibre packages all require an ONT, these require a new fibre to be installed at the same time.

I remember the Internet starting!

Sky Full Fibre & Virgin Media XGS-PON, with automatic failover using DrayTek multi WAN router.
Sky Q, which will be sadly missed when they decide to kill it off!
