Sky conversion kit

I have recently upgraded to ultrafast broadband, openreach have installed the fibre to the property outside, I recieved an email saying my conversion kit would be delivered in 3-5 working days, all I have recieved is an ethernet cable, does the engineer bring the conversion kit when he does the work inside my house?

The conversion kit is an ethernet cable . It overrides the internal vdsl modem by plugging the ethernet port from the ont into lan 4 on the sky hub

Bearing in mind if this is an underground feed planning permission from the local council may be required

The conversion is the ethernet cable. Has your fibre optic modem been installed (photo above) when are you being activated?

@Paul1707  Well the ethernet cable is for you to connect to the WAN port which is port 4 on that router. When you go on ultrafast you then take out the rj11 to rj11 that goes into the filter when your ultrafast connection goes active.

The sky engineer is coming this friday, I dont have the item in the photo above now  just what openreach installed outside my house, i assume the engineer will fir what you have in the photo above on friday and my ethernet cable.like you say is the conversion kit @cookiemonsteruk
