'Sky' call from India about IP address being hacked?

Hello there, We just got a call on our telephone line from a guy in India saying he works for Sky.  He informed us that our account was being hacked and that he would need to ask us some questions. He asked how many devices we had connected to our Broadband and then asked my husband to log on to Play Store on his Samsung phone and type in Quick Support.. He was quite assertive, but we began to feel a little suspicious because he seemed to be getting quite aggressive.  We put the phone down and have received 5 more calls in quick succession - none with a message.  Does this sound right to you?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@RingwoodThis is 100% a scam. An ISP would not call you out of the blue with something like this.

If you have Sky talk, you can put on your line talk shield to stop these types of calls. More information about this can be found in the link below.
