My ebnderly mother has been posted a letter saying her subscription to broadband has been upgraded because she exceeded her sky broadband lite usage ? She subscribes to sky TV and sky talk for her landline only ......but She does not have a computer so how is she using data ? Her charge has went up by 10 pound per month .
I need to explain to her why ?

Is your mother using her Sky box for On Demand and Catch up? If so, that's likely to be the reason. By the way, your mother will have exceeded the Lite usage cap on several occasions, not just the once, for Sky to have upgraded her.
