Hi, my Sky broadband has been down since yesterday afternoon - I am in north London. Can't work. No indication of repair time from Sky...anybody suffering this? Hugely frustrating

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@DT12 if you have not done so check whether Sky are aware of the issue and if not report it to them the service check in the My Sky app should tell you. Most issues are within Openreach's network on domestic lines the SLA is fix within 2 full working days from the report which they meet in around 80% of cases. Where they dont they will pay compensation via Sky see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com
If a fault affects an area which are quite common it is almost impossible for anyone including the Openreach engineers doing the work let alone Sky's staff to give an accurate estimate on when the service will be restored. It all depends on what has happened locally but assume the worst and hope for the best. That you choose to use a domestic connection for work is your choice but it give no priority so have a fall back plan from using mobile data, using public WiFi locally or going into the office.
