Sky broadband and TV but no dialling tone on landlines phone. Done all the checks as in guide

I have followed all guides in the help guides and still have no dialling tone and cannot dial out and when trying to ring in it says not available. Has anyone tried anything else before having to potentially pay an engineer to come out. Thankyou

Have you plugged your telephone into the back of the router/sky hub ?
