Sky booster not connecting

OK, found a small wps button on side of booster same colour so missed it, anyway, pressed that then the 2 arrow button on main Q box, after awhile it said connected. Now did same with mini Q box but didnt work until I rebooted mini q box after connecting. 

If you were an OAP etc how would you even tackle or understand how to try these things, there should be clear instructions on every booster box should they disconnect.
