Re: Sky WiFi Max and Sky Q issues

On the first problem - have you tried updating the software on the skyQ box - I had wifi connection drop outs on my 2TB main Q box, after the Q software update - much more stable.

If you are using mini Q boxes - then the new SkyQ Router does not have a mesh capability for Q so you may need a white Q booster to get the mesh signal from the main Q box to any Qmini boxes

Re: Sky WiFi Max and Sky Q issues

So I'm in exactly the same position.

I'm having issues wifi wifi calling which drops when moving around the house.

My Sky 'booster' is connected to:

2.4ghz = SSID matching the main network

5ghz = Different SSID

Do the mini boxes connect to the booster for network services  or the booster?

Wondering if switching off the 2.4 on the booster may remove the c wifi calling issue??  If prefer my phone to connect to the wifi puck rather than the booster.

Any advice?

@Blkmomma71 if your Sky Q mini is not connecting to the Q main box give Sky a call as thry should eithercsend out a Q booster or arrangecan engineer to visit.
