Sky Wi-Fi max new hub?

Hi,

Instead of paying a monthly fee to SKY couldn't I just buy the new Sky Wi-Fi Max hub 6, say, off eBay, and use it?

All I want is to be able to control the Wi-Fi signal on and off remotely because of kids, but I'm afraid that that facility won't show up on the MySky app until I pay for it!?

Thanks,

Mat

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@FinnRose

Thede hubs belong to Sky so should be returned when an account is cancelled so buying one if an auction site really isnt a good idea.

The funtionality won't show in the MySky app unless you have an active broadband subscription.
