Hi,
I have had an engineer come around and fit a Sky Q Booster to help the signal reach the mini box from the main box. This has worked well. I was interested in connecting our cctv system via ethernet to the booster, but it appears the model we have been given (SE210A) does not have an ethernet port. Looking online, all models I can see are SE210 and all have an ethernet port on the back. Was wondering why we were given a different model and could we replace it?
Many thanks.

Our guess is the 'A' model was commissioned and manufactured during the depths of the global silicon chip shortage.

Presumably I could have it replaced?

You could try, but it's unclear if Sky has any stock of the previous version, or if their logistics system is capable of differentiating between them.
There will be a continual turnover of such hardware as they are returned by departing customers and issued to new ones.

So contacted sky. According to the operator they have changed to this model in past few months and no longer provide a booster with an Ethernet port.

I suspect that's not entirely correct: while the wireless only model will be the one they now have bulk stock of, there will be all the previous hardware out on loan with units being continually being returned.
