Woke up to nothing working. Checked service and it says a Sky Outage with issues in my area (Shoreham by Sea) and may take a few days to fix.
Does anyone have any more details? I rely on internet for work (let alone TV etc being down) .

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more'A few days to fix' is the standard timeframe provided by Openreach. It'll depend on what and where the fault is. If the repair needs the road or pavement digging up it'll take longer as Openreach will need to get authority from the local council first. I'm afraid working from home gives no faster fix time as Sky Broadband discussed here is a domestic service.
The below link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you notify Sky of the fault, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (from 01/04/24 the rates are £9.76 per day).
