Sky Max not connecting to existing Sky Q TV with mini boxes

Upgraded from Sky Broadband to Sky Max - to improve my wifi in the house..

Spent over 4 hours and two evenings simplytrying to get the Sky Q box and then the various mini boxes to connect - but failed.

Engineers say this is a known issue - and i now see it in the discussion pages - shame Sky did not make me aware when upgrading..

Sending the Sky Max back, having wasted my time..

Sky Q and its boxes needs to be updated it seems ...

As I mentioned elsewhere, Q is ten years old next February and no longer the flagship 'Sky' (Comcast) TV product.  It's not going to be updated in any significant way in its remaining few years before satellite television broadcasting to the UK and RoI ceases, and Max will never get 'Q mesh' support.
