Hi all,
I have recently moved into a new place and gotten a Sky Max Hub for broadband. Everything was setup and checked by an engineer and it generally works fine.
However,  every day, around 1:45 - 2am BST, the hub's light turns amber, and the wifi is unusable for a few minutes, but then promptly comes back online after this. Due to working conditions, I have to be able to utilise the internet at this time, but this makes it rather frustrating. Has anyone else come across this before? One of my friends had also experienced a similar issue with Sky at their own place, around the same time.
Could this be a result of scheduled updates on the device? I'm unsure what to do ATM, and I haven't been able to find any resources online regarding how to mitigate this issue, or whether any settings are available via Sky to stop these incidents from occurring.

P.S. I also have an issue where my Sky Max Hub struggles to connect (via Wifi) to a device literally down the hall ( a few metres), where there is no blockage in the way, and the hub at a good height. I'm getting 1 bar of wifi, or just won't connect at all, causing calls to drop off, or just any internet usage to fade out. I've resolved this by using an ethernet cable, but wanted to understand why the signal from this "modernised" Sky hub would be so weak. I suppose it could also be the receiving device's fault but unsure how to test this ATM.

@SkyUserNLDLJF if you are on a partial fibre service the explanation is probably thst the Digital Line Management system in the cabinet is adjusting the line parameters to balance speed and stability which is a process thst takes roughly 10 days to settle. No isp will guarantee 24/7 connectivity but one stabilised it should cease. If the line is full fibe the same process is not required.
If the deviice is really in line of site from the hub that is strange but the wifi signal is like light in that it doesnt go round corners so all of the signal you get is the residual signal thst passed through thr obstruction or reflections. You can get dead spots with any system if the signal simply due to physics. A useful tool id an app called WiFi Sweetspots thst shows speed to the hub in real time as the phone moves round your home.
