Took over a month to gey landline and website sorted. Still not getting advertised WiFi or stability 👎

My speed is fine ( wired ) but I have had to wire in my Sky Q boxes as they won't connect or stay connected( luckily I have network cables installed for Consoles, Gaming PC etc )
Very poor service considering it's a monthly charge 😞

All my problems started after 'upgrading ' to fibre from copper. Bad decision, but as copper is going away, it's now or later 🤔

I'm having the same issue with no sky max hub settings in the app, no speed results on connection test and none of the advanced security settings etc working. I've been told by sky today that their network team are rolling out a blanket fix to resolve this for everyone and to wait 24 hours but I'm not convinced if this has been going on since May for some people. I've only been with sky since 10th Oct after moving from another provider and I'm somewhat regretting my decision at the moment

Same problem here,
Ihave been told today that it is a widespread and long term problem with no resolution date or time frame.
I ordered the Max hub for the added security and controls, so I'm nit getting the product advertised.
This is quite bad from Sky as no where was it mentioned that the Max hub is having technical
problems before purchase.

Sky won't tell you that, ot you won't buy it. They blamed OpenReach for my landline issue, but couldn't explain why app /website had no product info or capabilities. It just showed up after a month, no fix or reason given.

Same line I was given. Wide-spread issue, OpenReach working it, etc. Worst fibre provider I've ever had. It will be more than 24hrs before you see a fix. Don't let them gaslight you into thinking that clearing the mySky app cache, then reinstalling it, will fix anything. It won't. Call every day requesting an update, and eventually your problem will get fixed. Good luck.

I shall keep calling, I will give them a week then I am going elsewhere.
I understand companies have problems but to be lied to on numerous occasions is unacceptable.

I'm having the same problem - the hub is connected, working fine, and shows when I run checks etc, but there are no settings available in MySky, and which appears to be stopping my booster from working as well.

It would be interesting to see how widespread this problem is.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more
It's reported here several times a day, but without any visibility of how many MX Hubs Sky is sending out it's impossible to know what kind of percentage of recipients are affected: probably rather small given Sky Broadband has around six million subscription households.

Phoned today and apparently it's a thing they know about and are fixing, but if the fix the phone people have doesn't work, it needs escalated to an engineer. Sure as eggs is eggs mine didnt work. We'll get there though. 😄

All roads lead to OpenReach...good luck

Spoke to Sky again yesterday. They sent me a WiFi Max Pod. Guess what. Yep you need to setup the Max Hub before the Pod works.
Still no sign of being able to setup the hub in the MySky app
