Has anyone else had a router firmware upgrade to the Sky Max Hub, mine must have had one as the interface looks very different and I've also noticed the link speed is missing, is this another way for Sky to hide the speeds so you can't refer back to it if it doesn't meet the minimum guaranteed speed.
Really poor show, this is the last straw for me, been getting 40Mbs since I went to Sky Max, which I know should be able to do 52Mbs, but Sky won't fix it (it did run happily at 52Mbs for 2 days and dropped to 40Mbs after fitting the new hub), also the WiFi pods are almost useless, doesn't reach the Sky Q box where as the old extender did it fine, should be called Sky Min WiFi, when I contaced Sky and asked for a second hub, they said they needed to send an engineer ??? I said what for the Pod is not as good as the old kit, it does work, but it's range is poor, they wouldn't send another pod without an engineer.
So all in all bye, bye Sky so much for being a Sky VIP member with 26+ years with you, loyalty means nothing to these guys.
Thinking of going with EE, they are guaranteeing me 50+Mbs and they ship 3 WiFi extenders as standard, as they guarantee WiFi throught the entire house
