Re: Sky Max Hub, Model:SR213 - how to force to 5Ghz only, + MAC ACL not working

The web interface for the SR213 is not supported by Sky.

I was able to play around the web interface on the SR203 from 2022, and now the web interface is not support on SR213 from 2024.

If that's the stance from Sky then it's a regression.

I had to download the app to manage it, and as you mentioned it's limited functionalities.

Thanks for your update

@NaveedZ it is what it is I am afraid the SR213 is even more locked down than the earlier hubs. I have explained why there is movement away from managing routers with a  web interface moving to an app which is something many router manufacturers are doing.

You can take your issue up with Sky but from, personal experience I doubt you will get anything from doing so.

@CuddlyJake like many other WiFi6 routers you cannot split the WiFi bands on the white Sky Max hybrid. Instead the procedure is to disable the 5GHz band temporarily, connect the  devices giving issues and re-enable the 5GHz band again. Works for most people by reports.

You can replace the hub with a third party router if you wish or buy a cheap, wifi access point and connect the devices to that
