new Sky Hub installed about 6 weeks ago on maximum fiber speed, was working fine on wifi and lan connections(although no where near guaranteed speeds - but thats another subject) . Had remote connection issues whilst away last week, today I have seen the hub reboot several times of its own accord within a 60 minute window, (not firmware updating - currently on 7.02.0201.R) ended up calling sky today as no connection to internet, occasional connection to internet but no phone. Went through reset process and all apeared to be well again, however, whilst it appears to be working fine on wifi, as i can connect new devices and gain internet access, any equipment hard wired to my 24 port switch does not get issued an ip address and therefore do not show as connected in the hub attached devices page. I cannot seem to be able to see anything connected in the list of conneted devices despite seeing traffic on the ports.
I suspect my new Hub is not very well!
I have switched out my 24 port switch, checked and bypassed some cat 5 cabling but nothing seems to work. I dont have any static ip devices, its all DHCP.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
All suggestions welcome 😉 thanks in advance.
Rob
