Sky Hub keeps disconnecting for a few minutes at a time throughout the day

I work from home still and have to use a vpn and randomly throughout the day and night i get a notification pop up to say mt ISP is restricing my internet affecting my connections. this can happen anywhere between 5-15 times per day. I know its not my works VPN causing the issue because i have my personal PC on at the same time playing music or other application running in the background and when i come to this at lunch or the end of the day i have multiple tabs on the browser telling me the connection was lost and then reconnected. Works laptop is on wifi and my PC is on ethernet cable.

 

Can anyone advise what i need to do to get this resolved?

Try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

Done that a few times and everything comes back as good. problem is when the HUB is offline it wont let me do anything until it comes back up in a couple of minutes. 

 

How do i report it to sky?

Hi,

 

My Sky Broadband has been doing the same thing also for no reason the router will drop connection flash orange for a bit then reconnect green.

 

have had router power lead and broadband socket and broadband lead all replaced today and has been on for about 6hours but has started to do the same thing again 😞 i am hoping it just trying to settle fingers crossed engineers have been from Openreach and Sky and confirmed all broabdband and connections are fine so really am not sure what to do next just wanted to let you know your not alone with this issue.
