Sky Hub Admin page not connecting and redirecting to myrouter.io

Hi all,

Everytime I try to access my Sky Hub admin page I get an automatic redirect to myrouter.io and no page can be displayed.

I've tried multiple devices, multiple browsers and all the associated checks. I can ping the router and if I do a curl in terminal I get the page as it should be.

Any ideas? Kind of worried I'm had a MitM attack here but I can't find anything on the web or in the forums.

Thanks very much

@Ben600 assuming you are using the Sky hub the internal ip address is 192.168.0.1 which if you type just that into a browser should load the landing page of the web interface dont add anything other than the plainIP address. On the black hubs going further requires you to log in the username is always admin and thhe password is sky for the older flat style hubs or the default wifi password on the label for the newer upright type. On the newest white hub although there is a web interface but it is only for information all settings are managed in the My Sky app the log in is admin and the wifi address as before.

Attacks are extremly rare and your hub should not be compromised unless you have opened firewall ports etc. if the above address does not work after a reboot post again.

Re: Sky Hub Admin page not connecting and redirecting to myrouter.io

Hi and thankyou for the reply.

I found the issue. Trypicall after I posted for help but there we go! I have all my DNS servers set to 1.1.1.1. As soon as I switched back over to using the Sky Hub as my server it works. Which is strange, and I don't 100% understand why but there we go. It just means I need to switch back to the Sky router for DNS if I ever need to get to the admin page again.
