I have just received a Sky booster as my wi-fi signal is poor. I do not have fibre but only copper cable to premises. As such I can't upgrade my Sky HD to any of the newer formats (Glass etc) as the Sky engineer could not establish a wi-fi grid in my home. The Sky booster works fine but if I go onto an app (testing with ITV X) then the connection is very slow to load and all the personalised elements ('continue watching' etc) are not available. I have re-entered passwords in ITV x and re-booted the Hub router and repositioned the router but the same issue keeps occuring. If I disconnect the booster, and reboot the hub all is fine. I enjoy the better wi-fi signal when the booster is connected but my wife can't watch ITV X. So the booster remains disconnected. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Robert.

Hi, I am watching ITV X on a 2023 smart LG TV via the ITV X app.

My apologies, Sky+ should read Sky HD. The system worked until I plugged in my new Sky booster, so I presumed the issue may be related to the new Sky hardware added?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreBut this issue with ITVX is either an LG issue or a Broadband issue and neither will affect your Sky TV reception, thus I'm not sure if you have posted in the correct forum 😞

Our broadband is with Sky and understand that this won't affect reception but the Sky booster does seem to be effecting ITV X and BBC iPlayer etc. There are no issues with ITV X until the Sky booster is added.
