@jamesn123 there was an earlier thred here when I came to a similar conclusion that it shouldn't be possible.

Re: Sky Gigafast Isues
I have escalated your post, look out for a popup with a chat message from Sky.
When you speak to Sky, try to make it clear that your tests are from one single device connected to the hub via ethernet, therefore your speeds should be in line with the routers line speed. They should not use the excuse that speeds are only guaranteed to the hub because an ethernet connected test is valid for that.

Re: Sky Gigafast Isues
A box that says "How can we help" but no content, is that the right window? I've put a message in there anyways.
TIA

Re: Sky Gigafast Isues
Yes you need to put the first message in I think then Sky will reply. Its not a live chat, Sky may not reply right away

"All right, so I can see that you spoke to my colleague last week, and what they said was correct: we cannot guarantee speed to individual devices"

Re: Sky Gigafast Isues
Thats a poor response from Sky and not one I hear they make that often when you complete ethernet speedtests. They should let you walk from the contract in your case, If you cant get anywhere with support then a complaint should be raised

Re: Sky Gigafast Isues
@jamesn123 Unfortunately it is a response i've heard often the past few weeks, I have been asked to take pictures of the hub and ONT so I shall see where that takes me.
I had an issue a number of years ago with Sky DSL and connection speeds, and after talking to a very knowledgble Scottish chap he raised it with Open Reach, the next day when I left for work I could see a OR engineer with his head in my local green cab an when I got home it was fixed, I guess it was wishfu thinking that the same would happen here.
Thank you for your help!

Re: Sky Gigafast Isues
Hmm, I sent the advisor pictures last week, been away at the weekend, but my little chat orb has disappeared, so I don't know if they responded or not.
Any suggestions?
TIA

@Mr+Flibbles+86 @jamesn123 @Lisa-P1987 @Chrisee
Hi, I've been away for a few days, the little chat thing popped up and now it's gone again. But, my wife said she saw OpenReach fiddling with the pole on Friday, and I decided to give it another speed test today and...
Not sure if they did anything or if it was just a fluke but i'll take it either way!
Thanks all for your help.
