Yes the face plate has 'G-fast' written on the bottom left

OK, so that was FTTC from an Openreach cabinet located several hundred metres away.  G.fast has a different topology and is served from a much more local 'pod' so while the copper phone cable arriving at the property has remained the same it's quite possible that a new fault has been introduced into the circuit.

@hsa123 Take a look on the log files off the SR204 you have for WanoE drops they will be quick if they are recorded. Everything has to be really top notch for G.Fast...

@hsa123 Same as going to get your Stat's, there is a section on the hub, record's what is going on, if the wan is dropping out for short periods it will be recorded, as i said when you posted up your stat's you where up 48hrs, and really NO visiable issues, times where all together so it looked great from that perspective! Just incase you are directing the question towards my response. Jim.

 

When G.Fast is supplied the Green cabinet that you are connected to is very very close to your home, and you are nearly trippling your speed's over the same cable....
