Sky Full Fibre Gigafast - Slow Wifi and Ethernet via TP Link Av600

Hello All,

I've got sky full fibre gigafast. Router is connected in hallway with the smaller TP Link device connected as stated in the instructions. The bigger device is in my conservatory approx 15 metres away, gaming PC is connected on Ethernet to the Av600 device.

I'm not getting even close to the fast speeds i would expect and running speed tests are quite embarrasing. What am i doing wrong or what on earth is wrong? 😞

@shodders You are saying i think that you have connected a PC Ethernet output to an AV600 and powerline then to the Sky Hub, the powerline to start with has only a 100Mb/s Ethernet port on either side of the AV600 units, and the speed that you are seeing although a little low on your download side is just about what you can expect. You may even have the unit on a Powerstrip if you do then get it direct on a power socket that will help a little.

Unless you run a RJ45 cat 5e cable direct from your PC to the Sky hub then you are NEVER going to get anywhere near the 900Mb/s speed that you are expecting to see, will copy some speed info below, and you need to go look at the Tp-Link video on powerline operation that will help you a little!

And for speed related issues good read.
