Sky Fibre Gigafast but slow speeds of 50-90MBS average for past 12 months

Dear all

I'm looking for advise as month on month i've been paying for the Sky Fibre Gigafast, and almost every 3 months I am raising issues with Sky technical support team where they claim to do "tests" then will come back.

I'm sure we shouldn't be paying if we are not receiving the average, but each month payments are still being made.

Can someone share some insights or experiences on this?

@ravshi Do you actually have the whole 12 months captured at those speed's, that is the question? You can see on the service checker what is going on with the speed from sky to your hub! See a sample below but on the FF500 connection that i have before i changed the sky hub out!

@ravshi Your posted pictures require to be checked before released for general viewing, so will look at them once cleared.

You really have to do a wired Ethernet connected device to the sky Hub and speed test that way, so have you ever done that in the meantime while waiting? 

Your picture is cleared, so for me i would be changing out the cable port 4 wan connection on the sky hub to the ONT Fibre modem!

One bad connection you are limited to the 100Mb/s speed range!

Yep done that as well, direct to laptop and checking the speed.

@ravshi What sky hub are you using, the black or the white one! Sky Broadband Hub or sky Max hub?

@ravshi the one thing you can check yourself is the ethernet cable from the ONT to the hub as if thst is dsulty it will reducecspeeds to below 100Mb/s takes a few seconds to change. If that makes no difference you need Sky's help try following tgrough the checker as thst should offer to book an engineer to check the line.

We already had an engineer out about 6 months back, and still no progress following what you mentioned.  

What other avenues am i left with?

I'll get another fresh one.  Do you have any recommendations which one to get?

@ravshi Cat5e is all that is required and the length from the ONT to the sky Max hub, sky's supplied one is around the 2Metre length if that is what you are using currently, but you can carefully unplug it both ends and reinsert it again both ends, it just takes ONE bad connection pins wise, or ONE bad connection on the cable, all 8 cores on the cable are required to get the 1000Mb/s speed, after that it drops down to the 100Mb/s speed range!
