Sky FTTP authentication at NDTON exchange
Ok, this is a bit of a shot in the dark as I doubt this info is available widely. Nothing on telephone-exchange.co.uk that I could find. But anyway .....
Does anyone know what form of authentication Sky FTTP uses at the NDTON exchange. Is it DHCPv4 option 61 or DHCPv6 DC. It will depend on what Openreach has installed there. I want a heads up for reconfiguring my third party router for when I go FTTP next week.
Many thanks

Re: Sky FTTP authentication at NDTON exchange
@No2ID As you are really going fttp, the DHCPv6 PD is the first one to try, that is the one with the least issues for connection, then if you need to you can fold back to Mer option 61. It's a try and see, my Exchange just went FF over 16 months ago and i just set it up PD straight out for the connection on the changeover from EE PPoE as there method!
Did have to tweak my Asus iPv6 value to get the addressing for both ranges to work but it only took a minute to do that!
Did run on the SR203 for about six weeks at the start double Nat with the Asus mesh routing through the sky, only to make sure that the SR203 and my resurected SE210 held it's own up on the connection with no issues which they both did fine before sticking them back in there boxes! The SR203 that sky sent was a Refurbed unit but as it was only going to be on a short time just had to make sure that it held up and worked, it's the crutch for quick connection should anything go wrong, touch wood nothing as yet!
