Re: Sky Broadband Issues

The fault has now disappeared from the Service Status page. Are people seeing any improvements?

Re: Sky Broadband Issues

@BMJT

I never managed to get a fault to show up on the status page.

Ours usually goes down late morning or the evening, will let you know if we have any issues today.

Re: Sky Broadband Issues

I've also spotted that on the Wellington FB page people seem to be saying things have improved, so maybe it was actually fixed overnight. Fingers crossed.

Re: Sky Broadband Issues

Hi everyone,

Thanks for sharing your feedback in the community. Based on the information you have shared I've been able to confirm that Openreach resolved a local network issue in the Taunton area last night - Unfortunately, I don't have any specifics on the cause.

Re: Sky Broadband Issues

Thanks @Mark-Br glad to see that this has gone from being a personal problem to me, to an actual serious problem. This website has proved very useful in getting the word out there yet again.

Lets hope there's no more issues Smiley Happy

Re: Sky Broadband Issues

So far I haven't had any disconnections at all today with the router so things are looking pretty good!

Re: Sky Broadband Issues

Hi,

You've probably heard about this issue before but basically when you tried to utilise ethenet connections, you start to experience drop outs (sound and picture) which seem to be cause by the sky q box trying to poll the router over wifi, because the drop outs stop once you then disable the wifi via the service menu,

I suppose their isn't another fix for this issue because I actually like the extender/hot spot capabilty of the sk q box!!

@Ezz2Pac If you're having issues it might pay to start a new thread outlining your problem in full.

Re: Sky Broadband Issues

Purely for information only, I had some issues with the connection to my Q TV box after moving it from ethernet to wifi only. What worked in my case was a factory reset of my Q router, and a network reset on the Q TV box...
