Since having sky broadband i have not been able to connect my laptop to my home .wi fi
My lap top connects to other wif networks fine as do other items in the home. After exhaustive checking by tech gurus it is felt that the hub is a wifi 6 hub and my lap top will not connect. Security levels on the hub have been reduced to try and help but to no avail. Is there any possiblity you could send me a lower spec hub to replace the 6. Thanking you. Mr.m.chamberlain

Re: Since having sky broadband i have not been able to connect my laptop to my home .wi fi
i have a similar problem my laptop connects to the wi fi at work no problems and used to easily connect to my old sky router.
i have had to renew my broadband wifi and have a new router ... so with my laptop at home it doesn't evenstart up without showing a microsoft screen saying it has seen problems ...
so are the new hubs routers wifi 6 hub etc and are not compatible with some laptops, any apps or uploads to resolve this?
My laptop Pc is a Dell XPSL502X Reg Model P11F Reg No Type P11FF003.
Any clues please
