Since having fibre broadband installed my electricity consumption has increased significantly. Has this happened to anyone else and is there a way to reduce the cost of running this

Domestic broadband technology has very low power demand: the only addition for 'full fibre' is an ONT, which has negligible power consumption.

Obviously if additional client devices are in use on the additional bandwidth then power draw goes up, but only a gaming PC or console should have a significant impact.
