Signal won’t reach bedroom

Hi all

ive recently changed from BT to Sky broadband mainly due to the price.  We have the Sky Fibre 500.

Annoyingly the signal generally doesn't reach our top floor bedroom (didn't have the problem with BT).  My wife has already used all her mobile data with over a week left which never happens.

I've phoned Sky and they just offered me Sky Max for £8 extra a month which is pretty annoying as that takes me to more than I paid at BT for the same service. 

any suggestions?
