Should I have received an ethernet cable with my new sky hub?

This is a new Sky hub install.  Package received but no ethernet cable was included.  One is needed between ONT and Sky hub.  Existing ethernet cable from ONT to OGI hub doesn't work with Sky hub.  

Do I need to request / order one from sky?

Normally if you move from a non openreach provider you should get a conversion kit (3ft ethernet cable) check my orders on the my sky app for said conversion kit

 

When are you due to be activated?

Just checked ogi use zyxel hubs with a dsl and ethernet wan and use openreach

 

Where you on part fibre or full fibre with ogi and are you moving to full fibre with sky

You could of course just buy a suitable length of cat 5e or above rj45 to rj45 ethernet cable
