Has anyone ever experienced a massive Data usage surge in just 3 days?
My Data resets to Zero on the 22nd of each month. I constantly check usage over the month as i am a high usage user. But, in the last 3 days after doing a Broadband servce check it is telling me that i have used nearly 6,800 GB.
Surely this cannot be poss as i havent used any data a whole day out of those 3 mentioned.
Please advise what might have happened!

If my mental arithmatic is correct thst is over 200Mb/s continous usage which equates to over 8 continous UHD video streams.
Given Sky say there are no limits on usage and no reports of "fair usage" restrictions there is really no need to monitor date usage apart from curiosity.

Thanks for the reply Chrisee.
I did contact Sky regarding this and they put my mind at rest as you say it really doesnt matter about data usage when you are on a totally unlimited package. They said its more likely a glitch their end.
But its just nice to know whats happend especially when you go for over 12 twelve months using an average amount each month then it rockets up that amout in just 3 days. It makes itlook like there is a sky problem.
Plus, also the results still show what my average monthly usage is which has not changed even though this month ie 3 days it has gone up so much.

With the high data usage did you notice any drop outs on your service? ie has something used up all your bandwidth and other devices keep dropping like sky q secondary box?
Reason i ask I moved to fibre to property and been having issues with drop outs and noticed high data usage which sky or openreach can't explain
