Setting up broadband without uk phone number

I am living in the UK but have a US phone and US phone number. I just received my Hub but am unable to activate it becuase I can't download the sky app. The sky app is only available to phones registered in the UK. What are my options?

@Evan612 you will have to have an Openreach phone line to buy broadband from Sky but if your address doesnt currently have such a line one will be installed as part of the process simply enter your postcode and house details in the web site or call Sky and order overca phone.

You do not need to use the UK phone line if you don't want to but it is part of the package.

Thanks for the response. We do have a open reach line installed. 
however once the hub arrived there was a QR code which directed me to the App Store. However becuase I have a us phone number, the sky app doesn't not appear for me, and I cannot download it. Are you saying that the app is not needed in order to fully set up?
