My cameras also work on the 2.4ghz and connect to my network without issues @moz66 I tend to use the app for my camera brand which gives you a step by step process which more or less connects first time.

@moz66You might need to split your Wi-Fi frequencies to see if this works use the link below. This process can also be reversed if it does not work.

Fair comment @Highlinder I've got Neos and Ring and never faffed about splitting the wifi frequencies

Just used the apps associated with my camera brand each too their own I guess.

Fair comment @josedublin I don't have a device that controls the heating so can't comment on that.

But this may help if you have a smart thermostat

Smart Home dashboard via Firetvstick connected to tv don't have any issues with Alexa either.

I normally find if you delete your devices that you are having issues with in Alexa then let the Alexa app discover them again.

I figure out the issue with Alexa, now it is connected and the device that control the heating is fixed too, but not luck yet with the security camera, I use camHi app, for other hand, the ring bell which is a camera too, is connected succesfully. is only with the security camera the issue, do you think divide the frequency of the broadband can help ?

@josedublin

You need to split your WiFi bands to connect smart devices that only use the 2.4ghz spectrum

@josedublin

Did you ensure that your device was connected to the 2.4ghz signal when you went through the camera setup process?
