Samsung smart TV will not connect automatically to sky max hub.

All other devices connect automatically but the TV will not accept the WiFi code and I have to press the WPS button every time I use the TV.

@Wilmar some Samsung TVs have an issue with the new higher WiFi security level that the white Sky Max hub defaults to. To see if that helps go into the Sky Max hub's advanced settings in the My Sky app and change the security level from WPA3T to WPA2.

It is also worth rebooting the TV and readding the WiFi details manually. To reboot a TV disconnectvthe power until the power led goes out which can take a minute ir more, thst clears the memory so then the password should becsaved properly.

@Wilmar if other devices are connecting properly it is an issue with the TV so beyond checking the network settings on the TV it iscdifgicult to know whst else to advise.

I am having exactly the same issue with my Samsung TV - having to press the WPS button on my router every time I want to watch the TV.  Struggling with Sky saying it is the TV and Samsung saying it is Sky.

Same as @Wilmar, every other device connects fine. 

Initially, I tried connecting via wifi. The TV could see the Sky network but wouldn't connect when inptting the passord.

Hi Jla2,

I gave up trying in the end. Samsung and sky blamed each other, however I have solved the problem without knowing exactly what I did. I have YouTube premium and I connected to you tube both on my my android phone and Samsung TV. Somehow the TV is permanently connected to the sky router now. In the meantime I have set up my Netflix, all 4 etc and it all works a treat. I would love someone at sky to explain what is happening.
