Samsung TV and Soundbar getting wifi bandwidth not the same error

I have a Samsung Neo QE65QN94AAT TV and a Samsung HW-Q800B Soundbar and I have a Sky Broadband Hub SR203 Router.

I have been using them together over wifi in q-symphony  mode (uses both tv an soundbar speakers in unison) for a year or so. In the last few months I get an error on my TV thay states   "The wireless bandwidth of your TV and wifi speakers is not the same, select auto set to match the bandwidth of the wifi speakers to the TV". The soft button on the TV is actually labelled "Auto Setting" but does nothing when selected  to help resolve the problem.

Turning all the equipment off and back on (including the router) does not resolve the problem.

I can currently listen to sound only through  my TV speakers or only through my sound bar when connected to my TV via bluetooth

My current understanding is that some sort of update has occurred in my router to assign different bandwidths (2.4 ghz ? and 5.0ghz ?) to my TV and to my Soundbar. I don't know how to check which bandwith is being used by my TV and which is being used by my Soundbar. I also don't know how to make any changes in my router settings that might fix the problem. I also don't know if ther is a way I can tell if I am correct about the cause of the problem.

If anyone can provide some help and guidance on resolving this I would be very grateful.

Re: Samsung TV and Soundbar getting wifi bandwidth not the same error

@Phyllis+Stein It is the device that makes the decission where to go, not the hub, but the info below if you wish to split the bands, JUST change the 2.4Ghz add 2_4 after the name, that will leave the rest alone, anything that does not connect re-do the connection, and go set both your two devices to use the lower band....

Split Sky WiFi bands
