Had a very strange event happen this afternoon with my SR203 router.
I was using the internet via WiFi and suddenly lost my WiFi connection. I still had all green lights on the router and ethernet connections were working fine. So, I rebooted the router to see if it fixed the issue. When it was finally back up and running (it took longer than usual to reboot and required a few reboots before all 4 lights were green.)
Once successfully up and running again, with all green lights, I noticed that the routers home page was not correct and it was displaying the default SKYEPENS name in the ‘WiFi Network Name (SSID)’ field. It had also changed its 2.4GHz and 5GHz ‘Passwords’ back to the default one shown on the routers info sticker and it also reset all the WiFI settings in the router back to their default settings. All other router settings were unaffected.
I reconfigured the WiFi settings back to what they were before the issue and entered back in the individual 2.4GHz and 5GHz ‘WiFi Network Name (SSID)’ and each of their Passwordsand all seems fine again.
Has anyone seen this before? And may this be an early indication of a router beginning to fail? Or could it be something more sinister like some kind of malware/virus hack to reset the WiFi back to its defaults?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

@TechmanagerMal I was on the other side of the room from the router when it happened, so no chance of clumsy fingers.
All of my other custom settings in the router were not affected. It was solely the WiFi settings that somehow reset themselves to the factory defaults.
What was also strange is that the laptop normally auto connects to a hidden SSID which has a very long custom password. When the router reset its WiFi settings back to default values, the laptop automatically connected to this default WiFi network all by itself without me doing a thing.
For illustration purposes:
Before the reset fault
After the reset fault
This fault also scrambled the Sky SE210 Booster, making it only broadcast the 5GHz channel. I had to reboot the booster 3 times before it started broadcasting both its 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels.
I have read somewhere that a code leak or firmware fault can create this type of fault. I will monitor this going forward and if it happens again, request a new router from Sky.

I have also experienced this resetting to original, having experienced poor WiFi I realised I was connecting only to the Devolo SSID, the hub had reset!
Restored all to the same and mucho improvo.
