Did sky ever go ahead with allowing us to actually change our DNS servers (while having to turn off IPV6) as reported by ISPReview in 2019?

@Aurynfire No problem changing your dns servers away from sky's offering but it's still done per client & not a router option!

Nope, not in the Hub - you'll need to change it on each device or swap out to a different router.

Or set up an alternative DHCP server on RPi or similar device.

Wish there was a DECT wireless handset that runs from a sim that I could use so my old man could keep using the phone while I could switch away to a better router. * I could have the sky calls redirected to the mobile number *

So why does sky lock down access to the router dns settings ?
