SKy Max fibre, SKY Q.

Recieved router today. Changing router within SKY.  Wifi seems all good. Cannot connect to SKY q box, tried all the procedures on the app to no avail. Ask's me to use WAP, keep pressing it. How long do you have to this for? I after a shortish period of time get green flassing light. This seems to go on forever, nothing happens. when i let go router seems to reset. Hoping someone can help. Thanks in anticipation.

The WPS button needs pressing briefly on the Hub, and then press the WPS button briefly on the main Q box: this triggers the link setup.

As you've discovered, some design genius decided to make a long press on the Max Hub WPS button act as a router reset.

Thanks for the reply.

Just tried it again, got  blue light with WAP instead of green. A cough and spluter and it kicked into life. So all connected now. Thank you for your time.
