SKY Broadband - not able to download any apps in LG TV

iam new Customer to sky broadband  - not able to download apps like nextflix, infact any apps  in my TV when connected to sky braodband.

 

i have connected to my TV using my mobile hotspot and able to download but when i try to use the app connecting back with sky braodband its not working / launching the app.

 

tv is connected with eternet so no WIFI issues

Try adjusting your broadband shield settings:

You can also do this via the MySky app.

Hi,

 

I have the same problem. My LG TV won't download or update any apps. However, when I connect it to my mobile phone's data connection, there's no problem.

I'm a new Sky Broadband customer. I spoke to customer services, but the problem wasn't resolved.

I've tried everything. I even reset the TV, but it seems there's a problem with the broadband network.

Have you found a solution?

@kerem1 when you have downloaded apps using the hotspot can you stream video say in the BBC iPlayer app? If you can then it points to an issue with LG's servers it would help if you can pist the TV model number and the colour of your hub.

 

If you can't stream and other devices are connecting normally it sounds likeca network configuration issue Go into the TV's settings find the Connection menu and click on the entry for WiFi or wired depending ion which you are using. That should open a screen with a line for IP address what do you see?

Let me give more details about your questions and background.

 

Previously i was using different broadband and TV hadnt this issue. it was normal. Sky broadband set up yesterday and i realised the issue.

 

Streaming is ok. On netflix or youtube, all contents are working fine. the only issue is to download apps or updating them while tv connected to sky network. also there is no issue with other devices. i can stream and download apps from other devices using sky network. its so strange that its just related with TV and happened with sky broadband set up. 

 

I reset TV. changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1. 

Disabled/enabled IPV6

I connected TV to modem with Ethernet cable.

I unplugged tv and hold power button to reset caches or something else per the instructions that i found online.

 

LG UT81 65" AI UHD 4K Smart TV -Black | 65UT81006LA.AEK

 

Sky hub is black one.

 

IP is 192.168.0.15

 

Tv country is set correctly, Ireland.
