Some Samsung TV users do experience connectivity issues with Sky WiFi. Common problems include incompatibility with Sky Max's WiFi standards, higher security levels like WPA3 on Sky routers, and problems with automatic IP setup. Solutions include adjusting the security settings on the router, rebooting the TV, or connecting directly via Ethernet as a temporary measure.

Thank you for your reply.
I've already tried all of the above.
The only way the TV will connect is via an ethernet cable, but obviously I don't want this to be a permanent fix. Any other help would be very much appreciated. I'm at the end of my teather

Router will not connect to my Samsung smart TV. I've reset the router and the TV. Switched them off and back on again - nothing! TV will only connect via WPS pin, but only briefly, then has to be reconnected again. All other devices will connect to router, but not the TV. TV will connect to other WIFI networks, just not the one I'm paying a fortune for!!

Unfortunately, it appears that there’s a compatibility issue between Sky Max and the Samsung TV you have. This issue will likely require Sky to fix the bug in their firmware, or Samsung to do the same, which will take time. Hopefully, Sky will see the issue reported on the forum. I know they’re currently working on fixing bugs with Sky Max. For Sky’s information, could you please identify the Samsung TV? For example, please provide the make and model number.

Have you tried lowering the security setting to WPA2-PSK (AES) as the default on the Sky Max router is WPA3-T which may be the issue?

Yes, I've already tried changing the security settings, still no joy.
Samsung TV model number - UE55TU7020KXXU
Samsung 7 series 55
TV will connect via mobile hotspots in less than a second, but not the router.
I've reset the TV to fresh out the box settings, and still nothing. I've reset the router, even though the router is brand new, still nothing.
I've tried everything I could possibly try before starting a thread on this forum.
It's been almost a month now of no TV because of connection issues!!

Hopefully, a superuser will escalate the details to Sky

I hope so. I'm very close to cancelling my contract and going elsewhere!
I even bought TP link extenders hoping that would help, but no. Just left me even more out of pocket!

There are more than several posts concerning Samsung TV and issues with Sky routers, so it may be worth considering changing internet providers as you suggest as Sky superusers are blaming the Samsung TV which I don't think is right!

I have exactly the same problem with my samsung tv, same model as well, it won't connect via the standard wps method or by manually joining the network with the password.
Tried all the advice ie re-booting and changing the security level, even joining the network but its really frustrating, everything else eventually connects to the sky max hub.
Wlcome any advice.

Update to my previous comment, carried out a network reset on tv which removed all old wifi data. Powered off / on and it then detected mynew network and was able to join by entering manually.

Donna did you find a solution? I am having the same problem.

Sky upgraded our router to Sky Max Hub and now Samsung TV
Model : UE32T5300CK will not connect to WIFI. Was fine on previous router. All other devices connecting to Sky Max Hub fine. Any solution please? Spoke to Sky Support yesterday and couldn't resolve it.

Nope. I did same. Spoke with sky. Only way I can get WiFi on my tv is to use WPS setting. - click this on WiFi lift, then press WPS button at right side of sky max hub box. This works but resets whenever you turn tv off. Very annoying and don't think I can put up with this for 2 years. Think I will call sky to cancel and get another internet provider.
